I am looking for how to remove the front grill. I have searched and didnt find anything.

I want to take it off and paint it. I know there are clips and I don't want to break the grill. Anyone have instructions on how to remove the grill? Plastic clips are my worst nightmare.

I am also painting the bumper but that is easy to remove.

Just take a look around, there should be a few screws holding it on, then you can take it out from the clips. The clips should be metal, and if they are plastic I'm sure there pretty strong so don't be afraid to get a little rough.

If you just want to remove the grille, remove the screws then lift up slightly on the top of the grille and tilt the top of the grille forward, this will release the lower tabs on the grille. If you also want to remove the grille corner moldings, start by removing the parking lamps = one nut holds each lamp in place along with a stud that goes into a clip, so when you remove the nuts you will need to grasp the lamp and pull forward. After you have the lamps removed you will then be able to remove the screws that hold the grille molding in place.

Thanks guys! Ill do this in 2 weeks during winter break. Or maybe this weekend. Need to set up a paint booth in my back yard again.

I got the grill of and painted. Just waiting for it to cure before I put them back on. Also spiced up the wheels a bit. Need to get a better brush to clear the rust out of the corners.

For 30 bucks for paint and wheel polish was worth it

The grille and bumpers look much better with the fresh black paint.
