95 dash into a 94 ranger

i have a 1994 ranger ex. cab 4.0 5speed and wanted to know how hard it would be to put a 95 dash into the ranger, i can get a 95 dash cheap and like the look of it, i know that they would physically fit but how hard would the wiring be, and is it worth it?

ull need to mod the hvac controls and box to fit the 95, also the 95+ speedo is electric, and the 94 had a speedo cable.
not worth the work imo. but it could be done i guess

i figured that it would be really hard to do, i like that style dash but its not worth it i guess

yeah its a nice dash, but its gonna be a hard work. the 94 dash looks more"truck-like" imo

yeah, i know what youre saying about the truck-like look, i just wish there was something i could do about the gauges, i would go overlay but they dont seem worth it at all

yeah the gauges do look a bit boring.
ive never seen a nice overlay for them. maybe a custom made one would help.

or going with separate gauges on a custom made cluster would rock it

yeah, i guess ill have to do some searching around, that custom cluster looks nice though

Digging this thread up from the grave (Google search actually), but have you found any info on this? I'm about to perform this swap in a 94, but i have the complete dash and wiring harness, and the engine bay heater box. I'll be swapping over the entire electrical system as well....
