How is anyone supposed to diagnose the problem with almost no information? 20 year old engline the possibilities could be endless.

we do need more info..............did you put the filter in the correct direction. Pull the vacuum line off of the fuel pump regulater and see if it has fuel in it........it is on the fuel rail.........
