If you can't go through it or around it, then go over it.
you guys with the 95 - 2001 Explorer 4wd, what engine do you have and what kind of mileage are you getting?

A friend's dad has a 95 Limited 4x4 with the 4.0, and babying it he gets 18 ish city with a little highway thrown in there, and 21 on the freeway.

on the front axle on those ..... those are drive plates right ..... not a CAD? other words is that front axle always locked in?

They're always locked, like the later Rangers.

hhhhmmmmm .............. going to replace the minivan. got a line on a 96 explorer 4wd with a V8 and a 98 4x4 with a V6/5spd.

going to go look at them tomarrow.

A '96 wouldn't even be OHC at all, much less DOHC.

we have had this talk with him before, I think he said he swapped that engine in

going to keep looking. the V8 had 223,XXX miles and the V6 atleast needs a new clutch plus it smelled like something dead was stored in it. and it was a 97 not a 98
