95-01 Explorer leather seats to '88 Ranger XLT

I've done my best to search this, and not sure if this particular question has been answered.

Will 95-01 Explorer leather bucket seats fit in an 88 ranger with 60/40 bench seats?

I'm curious as to how much modding would need to be done as I found some cheap leather seats.

I just put second gen explorer seats into my 93 ranger. I had to get an m8x1.25 tap and tap two holes in the bottom of each seat to fit my sliders. Hole was there it just wasn't threaded. Otherwise it was fully bolt in.
