'94 XLT (5-speed) from WI

Hello everybody on trs! My name's Matt, just picked up a '94 Ranger XLT 2WD 2.3L two weeks ago, started fixin' her up and joining various forums.

I haven't yet registered my Ranger or found two rims and tires for her yet, but she's bound to be a fun truck in the long run.

Anyway, my first post was a how-to on replacing your headgasket, timing belt, timing belt tensioner, valve cover gasket, upper and lower intake manifold gaskets, exhaust manifold gasket, EGR gasket, water pump, etc.

Check it out (no 56k or you will cry).

Hey Welcome for sure! I'm here just outside of Stevens Point in the country. Several member in this area. Great site with lots of info and good people, met four of them so far.

You're about a hundred miles north and slightly west of me. I'm in Fox Lake - not much to do down here but work work work lol.

Sooo every time I try to use the search function in the for sale section, it doesn't work...

Does anybody know of anyone with some 14x6 5-4.5 rims, or something that will fit my stock 1994 Ranger?

I need something cheap (1 or 2 rims) in order to get my truck on the road.

You take great pictures and do good work.
We like you already.

Welcome to The Ranger Station!

Obligatory photo of my free purple 93 that I should've kept.

I have 4 factory 14s off my truck.

Welcome.

You've got a Ford, not a Dodge. Its a STX, not SXT.

Oh, forgot to post a pic or two of my truck :P

Not the cleanest in the world, but she gets the job done!

Woulda waxed her, but i'm out :P

bummer. you got one of the unlucky 5 speeds with no tach. if you want you could go to a JY and get a gauge cluster that has one. would bolt right up. just need the wires and stuff for the tach to work. otherwise nice truck

Wow. Your project log is baller. And yeah, I know about the tach. if I can figure out what type of signal feeds the tach (and what math / signal it has to interpret), I will just get some electronics made up at work and do a digital tach.

Yeah, it kinda sucks not having a tach since my speedo jumps around 10mph (is this most likely a bad speedometer cable?)
