94 shifter replacement!

hey guys i am new to this forum. I just bought a 94 ford ranger, it has a 4.0 with a 5-speed. The shifter.... as you all know get slop in them. Mine is pretty bad and i bought the spacers and plastic bushings and stuff i need from my local ford dealer already.
Is there anyone that has replaced theres?...it doesnt seem hard. I am pretty mechanical so i am sure i can figure it out. I would just like a little heads up before i try to do it this weekend.
