Been getting a little done here and there. Motor , Trans and case are mocked up. Been gathering parts also.

So other than the vortec motor, what is the rest of the drivetrain? I have a 5.3, 4l80e and np205 that i would like to put in my bronco ii.

Drive train is aluminum 5.7 block with truck heads and intake, 350 turbo , ford 205. Axles are a 9" and dana 44 out of late 70's full size f150. I purchased adapter to go from the 350 turbo to the Ford tranfer case from advanced adapters

Why not just install a chevy 205 input gear?

Chevy 205's should bolt right up to the turbo 350 (unless you have the figure 8 pattern), both the chevy and ford round 6 bolt pattern are the same, so just install a chevy 205 input gear into the ford 205 case and bolt it up...

The only chevy adapter I found they wanted as much as the advanced adapter. I was told the Ford had a stronger input.

Is your case the round 6 bolt or the figure 8? The piece I'm talking about isn't an adapter, its an OEM gear. Look halfway down at GU4023, the 27 spline input gear for 205...

Mines a 6 bolt, and I see the part your talking about but the peice that bolts between the Trans and the case is the difficult part, this is what I ended up getting

I like this option of mounting the two together with my short wheelbase.. He used the short 32 spline chevy input in the ford case and shortened the trans output shaft down to match, all with using 1.25" adapter.

Can you post a few pictures around the sides and the back of the engine? I am curious to see how much room there is for headers/exhaust.
