94 Ranger Glass/Crystal headlights

I was curious if anyone knows where I could find a headlight assembly with glass lenses instead of plastic.

The headlights on my ranger are fairly clouded, and the text and bosses make it hard to restore them evenly. Plus I like the look of glass headlights. I know glass is generally more brittle, but that doesn't concern me since it's a commute/occasional hauling vehicle and not an offroader.

I think the closest you will come is clear plastic aftermarket units. I have never seen glass headlamps for 93-97 Ranger. In fact, I don't think any car manufacturers use glass for headlamps anymore.

You can get glass housings to replace old sealed beam headlights. But you would have to make up your own adjustable brackets and It would be a lot of work to make them look decent on a Ranger that new. One source is Hella. I recently got rectangular glass housings for my '85 Mercedes so that I can use more modern H4 bulbs instead of the old, dim sealed beams. You're better off just polishing what you have or replacing with new plastic housings that fit.
