I have a 94 3.0 ranger and my dad drove it around for 5k miles with plain water in the coolant system. I have constantly back flushed the system since there was muddy crap stuck on my cap but I just want to see if I should be concerned if my gauges look like this.

The truck runs great with no ticks, maybe a little white smoke out of the exhaust when I start it up but just for a 30 seconds.

This is what the gauges look like so please let me know what you think.

Look fine to me. What's your concern? The temp gauge is in a good spot. If it goes above the word NORMAL then worry!

Thanks for the reply. I was just worried that it was not in the middle of NORMAL like my excursion or mustang. I heard that fords tend to run a little hott sometimes and I just did not want something worse to happen.

Back to flushing out this brown crap out of my radiator!

Those gauges are only dummy gauges anyways, that's why I want to get an actual temp gauge from autometer

With the price of gas these days I'd be worried about the position of the one on the bottom right of the group.
