i have a 94 ranger and it has the horrible electric shift t-case. i was wondering what i all need to swap to a manual shift. also if any one could explain the 1350 and the 1354 whats the difference and how do i tell what i have got. thanks for your help

You have a 1354, and it's quite far from horrible.

Like all moving parts, it will eventually fail. Like a number of moving parts, sitting unused for 13 years will cause issues.

You will need the shift linkage and the floor plate, along with the boot and trim if you want a clean looking install.

An electric T-Case can be reliable right up to the point it fails, and then there are a number of things that can cause it and not be the actual case itself. I prefer manual by a long shot, no comparision IMO right along with manual hubs.

Most importantly you need a manual shift 1354 case. The auto shift has yet to be retrofitted sucessfully.

and if you end up with a 1350 case (1350 manual shifts are MUCH more common than 1354 manuals), you need the front drive line from a d35/1350 equipped truck.
