I'm looking for parts to rebuild my 4x4 axle shaft. I recently bought a 94 Ranger, 4.0L V6 - I have a few questions:
  1. anyone know where I can find parts for a Dana 35 front passenger axle shaft
  2. anyone know what years of other Fords (Explorers/Broncos) use a Dana 35
I'm in Canada; I'm 17, I'll take any advice I can get.

Thanks!

The TTB Dana 35 was used in all '91-94 4x4 Explorers and all '90 to '97 4x4 Rangers and Mazda B series from '94-97. In some '93-95 I believe there was a hybrid axle mostly on 2.3L or 3.0L Rangers not 4.0L Rangers that had a Dana 28 ring gear and smaller internals in the differential and the stub axles that go into the differential have smaller splines for the smaller gears but the outer part of the axle shafts are the same.

Hope this helps.

Hopefully, you're in Edmonton area - Pick n pull there has a '93 & 97 Ranger 4x4, and '94 Explorer 4x4 currently.
