Ok Jim we need to find out the reason you want to change the rear end cause you are taking out the flatlanders gears for more torque.

Yeah it's a direct swap.

Most Rangers with a 4.0 engine will have the better 8.8 axle. Definately an upgrade from a 7.5 rear. It's something to keep in mind when your looking for a new rear.

Older than 93 will be narrower though, so stick 93+
