94 Ranger 4.0L Coolant Recovery Tank replacement

Hi All

Wife's 94 Ranger 4.0L the Coolant recovery tank is leaking where the overflow hose to the Radiator connects.

Ford and the Parts houses say it is not available.

Anyone have a source for this or a repair that will stand up?

Does your tank look like this?

If so it looks like most 4.0's used the same one (same or similar part number) so, one from an explorer or even a 92 4.0 ranger would work.

Sounds goofy; but, a Harbor Freight plastic welding kit may be just what you need! I have had success fixing a number of plastic stuff with heat. It is broke now so you can't break it.

Also, except for looks or keeping it original, any tank out of anything with a bottom connection and a way to secure it will work.
