getting a code 159 which is a maf sensor out of self test range. replaced with a new one and still getting the same code. does anyone know what else if anything will cause this code to come up/ THANKS FOR THE HELP!

i put in the jumper wire and turned the key on and waited till the check engine light started flashing then removed the jumper. this is supposed to clear the codes. but still came up code 159. cleared codes again and swapped out maf sensor for another new one at parts store (surely two new ones in a row aren't bad) and same code came up, hard code came back 111(ok) the engine idles very rough till it finally chokes down by itself also exhaust smells like raw fuel and has black smoke coming from tailpipe i unplugged the maf sensor and the black smoke stops but it still running rough, driving down the road it runs good for a min then loses power for a min and while holding wot it sputters for 5-10 seconds then clears up (like a switch turns on inside the engine, so it clears up very rapidly when it finally decides to) and goes on. any help eppreciated i am checking the codes with a handheld code reader also new plugs and wires, replaced bad o2 sensor, new air and fuel filter, new fuel pump, new maf, prob need new truck lol
