94 Mazda B4000 front spline count

I'm going from auto to manual hubs on my Fazda, and am wondering about spline count. Some Ebay listings show a 23 spline count as compatible to my truck and others show 27 spline. From what I've read it's a 27 spline count for this year. Could it be either/or? I was hoping to avoid pulling a wheel for a physical count.

23 spline was '83-'89 only (also the initial few months of 1990 production).

Yours should be 27 spline.
