I have a 1994 regular cab XLT. The plastic trim that surrounds the gauges and radio/heater control is coming off on top, I can see some pegs on the trim that go into the dash. Does anyone recall if there is supposed to be metal clips attached or is the plastic peg broke off where it secures into the dash?

The only two screws that hold that on are for the ash tray, other than that it's just metal clips. It's been a couple years since I've had that off on my '90 so I don't remember, I can try to look this weekend if no one else chimes in.
