Questions on 4.0 to 351w

I have a 351 w with a bronco/f150 pan i had in my 85 stang, have the 5.0 mounts can this stuff be used? What is the best radiator? And finally best headers?


Sorry for the questions you have probably answered a million times, im a former gm guy new to fords. The swaps seem more complicated.

The truck intakes wont fit. The motor mounts wont work, and the headers will be custom. A lot more swap friendly parts are available for the 5.0. Youll want a 96-97 5.0 explorer as your donor...

Well seeing as the 351 was in an 85 Mustang I'll assume its carburated, 2nd fox body mustang convertible motor mounts WILL work, and for headers find either block huggers, or I used Advance adapters ones, modified to clear the steering box. You'll need a remote mount oil filter as well.
