Does the ABS senser have to be removed to get it axleshaft out?

If so, any tricks? Nobody in town has a 12pt 6mm deepwell...

Use a 12pt box end on a wrench? But I don't think it has to come out, I've taken axle shafts out with it in place.

Can't get on it with a wrench.

I am not working on it, so that is adding to the fun of it too... it is the slow season so the boss has one of the guys tuning up the parts runner.

Plus that is one area I haven't had to touch on my Ranger so I don't have any experiance doing on my own either.
