I know the opposite has been asked and you may ask why would i do this? simply because i love the older dash style more then my newer style, and i have a 94 truck that i baught for a transmission when i used to have my 4 cylinder mazda, so how much work is to it? i know its not a plug an play but i wouldnt mind doing the work if it isnt to to extensive, im decent with rewiring and fab work so i know i could do it but id like to know exactly what would be required before i rip everything apart.

the HVAC controls would be the tough part. 94- were activated by cables, mechanic we could say, and 95+ are electric/vacuum activated.

also the 96 has airbags, and the 94 does not. you could scrap the bags, but it wouldnt be worth it, i wish i had airbags

i think the steering column is set higher on the 95+, but not so sure about that.
