94 b4000 axle swap/offroad build

i always wanted to build a jeep style tube fener flare for my ranger and have a bolt going through the flange in your fender. in the flat spot not the outer edge but the inside lip. then just drill a few holes in the flare you make and spin it on with a few wingnuts.

although that only works if you havnt cut your fenders. or if you cut them and bent that 90 angle back into the edge like i did..

make them look like metalcloaks do... the tubes bolt on the fender and can be removed w/ only 2 bolts.

im not gonna lie i'm nervous about going to the police station to get these tickets waived. i have a bad feeling that i may leave with more tickets than i show up with.

bumper is DONE!!! will have to take pics tomorow since my camera blows when its dark outside.

taped up the taillights for now, until i can take the time to fill them in and put in tractor lights. and put on my temporary mirror until mine arrive next week. I should be good to go to the cop shop. just need to hook up to the trailer since the nailed me for a trailer light out as well. other than that i should be good to go.

Note to self, dont move up there, cops look like they are a buntch of d!ck$.

That reminds me, I still need to fix my tail light and check over the truck to make sure everything is fine and holding up.

kinda funny pullin into the copshop, everything i fixed was obviously a complete temporary fix. the cop kinda looked over everything with a smirk and just signed off on them didnt want to check the tail lights or nothing. bumper pics are uploading as we speak.

bumper pics. not 100% done as i want to build a trim plate ontop to close up the gap under the grill and add some turn signals in it. i have some LED ones in my corner markers but they dont pull enough amps to trigger the flasher. i even tried a flasher for led's and it didnt work.

but it's done enough for now.

Looks sick. I like the led idea but ive heard you have to run a resistor to get the flasher to work


As for the mirrors i dont remember if you are goin to trail mirrors but i was surfing pirate the other day and i guy swapped some samurai mirrors on. Theyre big enougj to use hut fold i. Real close. Within 2" of the body

i havnt tried a resistor yet but i did try a flasher that was designed just for aftermarket led's but it was doin the same thing. the only reasone i am running leds in the corners is the factory turn signals were in the bumper and i was struggling to come up with something that didnt look hidious. now i can just do some small inset round ones and be done with it. the led's are off a marker light that cut apart and flushed into the backside of the corner.
