and the money.. dangit! lol

and my turnbuckel running from the engine crossmember to the trac bar bracket for additional support. I used two of the old "heim's" that were still in good condition (3/4x3/4)and it worked out awsome since i was able to crank it down tight after everyting was burned and bolted in place.

you can kinda see the axle sinde behind the drag link it's built off the axle link bracket and the axle

the wetness your seeing on the frame is from turning the wheel without the motor running after everything was welded up to check for movement or bind
gotta love the sweet powerstering pumps on these.

ok.. so is that a bought bracket for the track bar? just modified on how it mounts.. i was thinking of getting the one from ruff stuff but didn't know if it would work.

was looking at this one
http://www.ruffstuffspecialties.com/catalog/PAN-OUT.html
its the one for the outside of the frame. or would i need the inside version?

thanks for putting those pics up again.

also do you know if ruffstuff has an option of link mounts for the long arms? i'd rather deal w/ only ruffstuff instead of ballistic also

that's a ruff stuff trac bar mount. it has worked fine for me (x2) i have been running the same style bracket since i first did my sas. (dana 30) and oddly enought it is the same for the 44
mine is an outside mount. and you will most likely need the same unless your angle's are way different the you may need to make your own.

i'll go back to my build thread for the talk of my truck lol.. this 2 thread thing is kinda confusing lol. thanks for the help. escort won't come help me sas the b2. wanna come down? i'll buy you lunch!!!! :icon_rofl::icon_rofl:

if i were just layed off and didnt have a kid on the way ide seriously consider it.

Cut the spare tire mount off the headache rack. i'm officially sick of the spare in the box.

i realized this past weekend a fullsize spare. a medium size cooler, 5 gallon pail (where i keep my chain's) a small stihl 021 chainsaw a 6 ton comealong and some shovel's and axe are absolutly all that I can fit in the back. and once you take one thing out it's a pain tryin to get it all to fit back in there. throw a hard to shut tailgate in the mix and what you have is a giant PITA.
So i'm gonna revamp the tire carrier to fit onto the box without the headache rack.

put the nail in the coffin today. busted the lens out of my other tail light while haulin scrap metal. look's like i'll be ordering taillight fillers with some of the scrap metal money

I want to make a set of tail light covers on my truck so that I wont bust another one out, both need replaced now, last one broke due to backing up into a rail.......

to make all matters worse i got nailed for it today too. those and the mirror thats been missing since early spring. gonna temporarly fix them then go tomorow get em all signed off on. I'm also havin some ideas bout some removable fender flare's of sorts. possiably making somthing that easily attaches to my bumpers just to keep the cops happy

Did they complain about the tires hangging out to far? Had a cop follow me with my busted tail light and to my suprise didnt get me for it.

yeah he started to he thought i just had really offset wheel's on it. once i explained the whole situation he then said that he wouldnt give me a ticket since it would be pretty expensive and hard to fix that.

Well. for whatever reasone i thought my taillights were the same or close to the same as a ranger and was gonna order some ranger taillight fillers. i sure am glad that i didnt. went to swap in a ranger taillight that i had layin around and found there is no way it was gonna fit.

Looked up fillers for a mazda and they are 4 times as expensive as the ranger ones. seems kinda counter productive. so i guess i will be trying to make my own fillers again.

maybe some strong magnets attached to the flare and then slap it on the fender? then maybe a center pin or 2 to keep them from sliding around down bumpy roads:dunno:
