eventually the mazda will go to the wayside anyhow. all this depends on if I even get the explorer and secondly if the explorer's drivetrain is even any good.

well the explorer was WAY more rusted out then the guy led on. to the point that i wonder what a "Rusty" vehicle is to him. there were no rockers to speak of the rear quarters were swiss cheese and the trim was falling off cuz there was no metal behind it.

Well all the trs guys on FB seemed to like it so much i figure i'll post an off topic pic over here. inbetween my truck and work i've been tryin to get the new hunting outpost into shape before rifle opener. it's a 17 foot camper that we did some "remodeling" to to sleep another guy in. closest powerline is over 20 miles away and somone forgott the generator so we made do with what we had. here is a pick of tear out with the only power tool we used the entire time.

99% done just need to add a filler and a mattress and she'll hunt!!!

oh yeah and we eat like kings up there. fresh salmon and lake trout from that mornin fishin the "big lake"

and our beautiful view straight out the door 50 yard out is the fire pit. but you may notice in the top left corner of the pic is our "bear deterent spray" 12gauge

it's pretty clean for a truck from this far north. does have rusted rocker's (they are undercoated pretty heavily) so i plan to fix that and there is some paint chiping off here and there. should be starting a build thread by next week.
