I have a 94 B3000 V6 4x4 manual hubs 5spd

When in 4x4 I feel and hear a klunking/growling from underneath my feet/seat that increases with my speed. At 35 mph it's fairly loud. Only heard when hubs are locked and 4x4 engaged. 4x4 works but I don't want to break anything. I looked underneath and don't see or feel anything obvious. But I'm no 4x4 expert.

Any suggestions?

check your driveline. maybe someone is playin a trick on you and has tiptied nuts on it?

i believe its called the knuckle? where it hooks to the other joint. or i suppose they could fasten the nuts on the drive line any where really.

with nuts on it itll create weight and give the drive line a wobble. i doubt this is ur problem but its worth a try.

maybe u got whack bearings in the t-case or the axle. creating a wobble

check the front axle u joints.

By this I mean the ones at the ends of the axles.
This is an easy check with no special tools needed.

wheel on the ground , hubs free, turn the axle shaft by hand while checking for looseness in the joint.
