how much of my factory wiring harness can i use if i have a turbo 2.3 from a 88 turbo coupe? i got the mass air flow from the car along with the ecm but not much else

is your '94 a 2.3L? On 93-94 2.3L Rangers you can re-pin the existing harness, splice in a VAM pigtail where the MAF connector was, etc.

yes it is. and i did get the MAF harness from the turbo car

You can/will reuse the entire harness. Actually, depending on what you keep/delete you can get rid of about half of the wiring thats there (but thats another conversation)

Your 94 is one of the easiest year to rewire. Most of the pins are the same, some need to be moved, a couple added, and a few deleted. VERY simple, it just looks like a headache cause of the wires running everywhere.

cool. is there any good tech pages on it anywhere?

There is no walk through that I know of out there. There is a lot of info though if you know the right places to search. (RPS, here, turborangersforum, turbo ford)

The turbo coupe did not have MAF. It had a vane air meter, VAM. Don't get the two confused. I found it easier to modify the existing wiring as opposed to trying to adapt the tc wiring. shady
