Will the springs and all the parts inside the brake drum on a 97 Ford ranger interchange with a 94 Ford ranger both 2.3 both 9 inch braked

Yes. The 9” drums were only on the 7.5” rears and I’m fairly certain everything except maybe the wheel cylinders stayed the same from 83-97. Not really sure when the 9” drums disappeared, but they were all the same. The 10” drums were the same for 7.5” and 8.8” rears. Wheel cylinders changed a little over the years, but are largely interchangeable except between 9” and 10” drums.
