so I got a good deal on this truck after someone stole my 91 ranger the new project is a 94 ranger 4x4 3.0 5 speed x cab ,

plans for the truck are to put a 302 in it with a 4speed from a 76 f250(need to find a clutch setup that will work) with a np205 t-case (paid about 500 for the motor trans tcas setup) I already have a 4 inch lift and would like to get bigger tires and prerunner fenders and bedsides just wanna make a fun weekend warrior and occasional wood picker upper

the rangers 3.0 is whooped and has about 240k on it but still runs and drives , this truck is in need of a lot of work but for 700 bucks with barely any rust it was worth it. shorty after I got it home I stripped the bumpers off and bought a set or 31x10.50x15 dick cepek crusher tires on rims for 300 the treads awesome guy said he hated the road noise.

Looks like a great project truck. Already beat a little so you won't have to worry about hhurting it

yeah already picked up a new door for it and my wifes not happy but black Friday im running to pick up a brand new set of 33x12.50 tires I just got to looking at the 302 (from a 85 mustang) and the 4 speed trans w/np205 tcase (from a 76 f250 that had a inline 6) will this trans and motor work together ive been looking on the net and it seems to bolt up but really haven't played with it figures id sell it if I couldn't use it any help on this is greatly appreciated

Straight six and 302's do have the same bellhousing pattern so you're good to go.

sweet yeah I bolted it up today before the wife got up to check and make sure guess I should have done it before I asked but thanks for the help im not sure what clutch and flywheel to use tho bc it didn't come with one.
anyone on here have any idea I been looking and reading threw some stuff but no luck
and also picked up a new set of 33x12.50 tires got an awesome deal on them
