94 4.0 4x4 help

ok i just rebuilt the 4x4 shift motor , push button light says in 4 hi wich its not its in 2wd, where is the reset button in the rear back pan where the jack is???? i dont see this mystery light is either.

are you talking about the blinking light on the module?

On an exploder im not too sure where that device is, on a ranger it is normally behind the drivers seat with a cover over top of it, i would assume its somewhere behind the panels in the back of the explorer but im not 100%

do i need to take a cover off the see the light and reset button?
