94 3.0 to 01 4.0 swap

is this possible? and what would need to be done?
because im thinking of swapping my 4.0 outa my 01 to go into my 94 with a 3.0

any input on this would help alot

I mean I think it would be the same considering the 94 could have came with a 4.0 and vice versa. But that's just what I think.

well the 94 still had a distributor and my 01 obviously does not, i beleive if i was to swap i would need to swap out almost everything because the 94 runs off of a speedo cable and the 01 is all electric

My 94 4.0 does NOT have a distributor....

You basically have to take EVERYTHING from the donor and put it in your truck

Yeh my 3.0 has a distributor and that pretty much sums up that idea thanks
