I have a 93 ranger with 85 t-bird 2.3l turbo that ac system is missing. Due to O2 sensor being in heater box I am in process of flip kit putting turbo forward. What is the best way to add ac back with other accessories. My alternator is mounted where smog is and ac bracket is top driver side. Does anyone got a good diagram with belt sizes for this to work.

This can be a challenging task, especially if you have already modified the location of some components such as the turbo and O2 sensor. Also, given that your generator is already installed in a different location and the AC bracket is in a non-standard location, a standard solution may not be suitable.
you need to plan the placement of the AC system components so they don't interfere with other engine and turbo parts. you will likely have to make or modify brackets to accommodate the AC compressor, especially if the stock brackets won't fit due to changes in engine configuration. you may need to experiment with different sizes to find your belts. measure by measuring the distance between the pulleys and look at the catalogs of belt manufacturers or see here you may find the right size.

I can move accessories if needed. Im in process of pulling engine to put new gaskets in it cause it has an oil pan leak and paint block.

This will be interesting. Please post pics of your progress.

By the diagram I found it looks like it will work the way I have it with flip kit.

I used 91 ranger compressor, 94 belt, 95 AC lines. Had to bend top of of accumulator pipe and ad AC hose to connect to dryer with 90 degree AC fittings. Then added more AC line to reach dryer and moved dryer location. I put vacuum on it and it has held. Still in process of add one to engine so haven’t added refrigerant yet. But I drained comp and added ester oil. Might have to cut hood but I am in process of either adding a mustang hood scoop to ranger hood

I also had to get the longer belt and add 3/8 aluminum spacers between compressor and bracket to get AC lines from pinching plugs on distributor

i have been entertaining the new dc systems. to save space in the fead of aircompessor/e welder/power options.

while there are space issues because i have alot more engine. these dc critters sure seems handy. there are more and more tests on them

Have you found a source just for the controller/inverter? Prius compressors are 10 bucks at the junkyards I go to.

same as the mariners and stuff from ford. there is a ton of stuff, but if its 12 v just using the normal switching to control it should be fine.

3 Orange cables so I assume 3 phase higher than 12v. Found a controller $99 but no info on its output just 12v 50 amp input required.

hmmmm....

that may be high volt dc or ac then. i have not ran those and i would guess from what you are saying they are not 12 volt....i would haave to check it out. dont see prius where i shop, i did get a mariner unit to function though physically. just not in a car.

i have installed a few like/similar to this below in frac pump units and my boss cleared me to get a unit for my drilling rig cab.....i have a bad feeling i am going to end up working in texas and utah and new mexico....more often then not...
