93 ranger seat swap

Anyone seen a good writeup on seat swaps for a 93 era ranger?

I'm looking for something covering how to remove the old ones and leave the track for whatever I get next.

Also, any suggestions for a reg cap ranger donor? I was thinking Explorer or mustang, but anything with cumfy buckets would be good.

P.S. I have seen the "What fits" guide for seats, but they don't explain how to do the swap.

take the seats out, flip them over, and u will see a couple bolts that hold the seat to the seat rail, undo the bolts, pick our ur seats using the guide, and bolt them to the seat rail and throw them back in, if u have everything its about a 30 min job...

as usual it's easier than I thought it would be. I really can't wait to get into this project, I can't stand the split bench!

Got a set from a 99' explorer sport. I got the driver seat in last night and will get the pass one done today. I should have pics soon!

i LOVE having buckets instead of the bench, my friend who owned the truck before me swapped them in, 2 different seats though, one broke i guess, i might find a new set with arm rests and ride...in...styyylllleee

I am looking to add buckets as well, How much should I expect to pay for decent buckets from a ranger at a yard?

I paid $100 from a parts dealer for a set of Explorer seats. Great shape and power tracks that I can't use but gave to a bud with an explorer.


I found it easier to find explorer seats so I suggest you look on explorer forums for sale ads.
