ok i have a 93 ranger 2wd standerd cab with a 2.3 but the motor is gutless ive done a tuneup replaced coil packs and whatever else need to know why this is like this and what i can do to fix this without swapping motor's?

look at the tag on the rear axle, you probably have 3.08 gears in it, swap in an axle with something lower (3.45 or 3.73 are easy to find and a good upgrade over the crappy 3.08's, gets the engine more in the power band. and if you have a tach, watch it and keep the revs up, the 2.3 isn't as bad when you drive at higher rpm...

also, if you put the 4 missing cylinders back on it gets a lot more powerful:icon_thumby::icon_rofl:
