Starting a list of things I'm gonna need for this thing
Picked up a 93 extra cab , 4.0 automatic. 230k miles. Runs good but has a mean lifter noise. Got it for $150 lol
I've had a few Rangers and finally came across this one that I'm finally gonna build.
I know everyone hates putting Chevy engines in them but I have a Chevy small block a buddy gave to me. And a turbo 400 trans to go behind it. So it will be getting transplanted in to the ranger. I'm gonna get a drive line made and probably go with a 8.8 out of an explorer for the rear disc brake setup.
Gonna go to the junkyard and pickup a set of beams out an 87 ranger that's up there. Me and a buddy will be doing the fab work to cut and extend them. Was thinking of going 4.5-5" over. If anyone has any good write ups on the process please link me to them!
Gonna go with some Chevy 63's in the rear for now.
Any good setups for the front without running coil overs? Also what do I need to do with the steering?

Thanks for any info. I'm searching as well
