Hi,
I am just starting to do my first 5.0 swap. I have a 93 ranger with a 4.0 and manual trans. in it. I have a 91 LSC with an 5.0 H.O. auto trans. My questions are . Will the LSC engine mounts work with my ranger or should i buy some L&L mounts. Second will the LSC ECU and harness work on the ranger, I know it is a speed density engine. Can it be upgraded to a MAF engine. Which harness should be used the LSC or is there a better one to use. Also I am going to install a T-5 into the truck, how can the LSC ECU be modified to work with the T-5. I am wanting the truck to be in the range of 400-650 HP can this be done using the LSC ECU or should it be upgraded to the MAF system. The front suspension will be upgraded to a 4-6 drop DJM. The rear suspension has a narrowed 9" and 4 link with coil over setup in it now. Any information would be helpful.
