Not bad at all! I'm digging the F250, too bad it's being chopped for parts.

Either way, truck will be even better with what you are putting in. Are you freshening up that 351W?

well if the f-250 body wasnt so rusted up i would tag it and drive it everyday i love that truck. as for the 351 im gonna clean it up and paint it and put a few new parts in it here and there it runs like a dream already no ticks or knocks.

sweet build man, would you happen to have any build pics of that efi 302 build? awesome truck so far.

sorry i dont i have pictures of the motor in the truck already. some advice if you plan on doin the 302 swap put on a body lift it makes so much more clearence for the motor.

Update: Got the front end tranny and transfer case out of the 250 today.

took alot of hammering and prying to get the leaf springs undone and two broken steering bolts but it'll be worth it in the end

Cool build!:icon_thumby:

A few questions though, why run Ground Hawgs? Tire technology has come a long way in thirty years:D Also, do they even make 'Hawgs for 20" rims?:icon_confused:

Also, why not run a radius arm set-up in the front? I know leaf springs are stupid simple, but your ranger is already set up for radius arms and coils which will take some work out. Also, front leaf spring bring the suck when it comes to an approach angle. The only real difficulties I see with keeping radius arms and coils are fabricating a track bar and welding some radius arm mounts on the axle. Of course it looks like you like to run in the mud, so maybe leaf springs won't be as much of a hindrance for you.

Either way, have fun with your build, it looks like you are off to a good start:icon_thumby:

I like everything about this build except for one thing.......FOR THE LOVE OF GOD DON'T GET 20'S!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

im getting 20's or something close to it because i hate big tires on small rims. Cant stand the look.

And im doing leaf springs because i use the truck more for mud and a dd i live in florida not much climbing to do around here.

Lookin' good man! what leaves are you going to run in the rear? And I agree, no 20s! I'm running 18s on my 37s and IMO they look perfect proportionally

if u are SAS'ing the truck and plan on some serious wheeling i would seriously suggest go NO BIGGER then MAYBE a 17 or 18, unless u have a good amount of stock in ur wheel company and dont mind replacing TRASHED 20s all the time..

and denman has never made a groundhawg for a 20" rim

im runnin either the stock ranger springs or the stock f-250 springs.

and as for the tires im gonna be runnin what ever i can afford in the beginning.

cool build but personaly i would say fuk the ranger and id rock the f250 but thats just me

Well like i said before the f-250 is rusted out has holes all over the cab and cracks all through the windsheild so it wouldnt be worth the money to tag it.
