Hey,

As the title states my ranger will not idle unless you feather the throttle, and even then it doesn't want to. It will immediately die, until the engine starts to warm up, if you stop feathering the throttle. So far I have changed the idle air control valve, the fuel filter, and the throttle position sensor, and have cleand the butterfly valve on the throttle body. None have helped. Did change the plugs when I first got the truck 2 weeks ago, and that helped it run better after the engine had warmed up. Any help would be appreciated. Truck has 323k miles

Does it idle after warm up?

You replaced IAC, but did you verify voltage/ground to IAC?

Does this engine have an EGR?

Did you test resistance to ECT when cold?

Yes it idles after warmup. Did not check voltage at the IAC. Don't know yet if it has an EGR. Did not check resistance at the ECT when cold.
