So I've been pondering this idea for awhile now. Reading posts and posts of kids wanting to do it but not finding too much info.

I can't seem to find any turbo coupes on craigslist, and when I do they are just too much to just rip apart.
I can find the 88 TC ecu online for anywhere from 40$ to 200$ crazy right? Anyways. From what I've gathered I can pin out my wiring harness plug and plug the 88tc ecu in? As for the motor I was going to find another block and start putting that together and just order one of the 88tc turbo kits. Also I need to find a block with a distributor? I know there are other posts on this subject I'm trying to get all my facts straight and in one place. Please post any build threads you know of here.

Thanks

do some searches for my posts in the forced induction forum here, I'm exhausted or I would... you can run your current engine and ignition if you do a couple things, the main difference between the turbo blocks and N/A is the turbo oil drain hole on the passenger side, the rest is the pistons... $40 for an ECM isn't bad, they're like $120 through Napa, I have a spare PC1 that I would sell for $40 shipped... If you went this route you would have to repin the wire harness at the ECM where things have been moved (it's about 5 wires I think), and add a couple sensors (change from MAF to VAM, and add the knock sensor and boost controller if you want to use it)

If I come up with any other advice I'll try to remember to post up, if you have any more questions let me know and I'll try to help out.
