93 ECM removal

After a hefty amount of research it seems as though my computer is to blame for a non responsive MAF. I am having trouble getting to the 11mm nut on the bottom which disconnects it to the firewall. Has anybody had any experience getting this thing out? Tools and teqniques? Socket and ratchet is to long and an opened end wrench won't fit. That little guy is a real PITA!

Can you post a pic? I've never had a problem on 91 and newer, I want to see what may have changed.

Drill a hole in the fender liner big enough to put the socket through it and use an extension and then go to a hardware store and get a rubber plug for the hole after you're done. Been there done it
