So this is where im at

93 ranger long bed single cab
already had t5 tranny
8.8 w/ 4.56 gearing trussed
custom leafpacks
33 bfgs
15'' centerlines
cobra brakes with 13'' slotted/drilled rotors

extended beams coilovers yada yada. so went and and bought a $500 monte carlo from auction which has turned out to be a great little car. so i can get to where i need to be for work and blew apart the truck in a couple hours .

had a 2.3 and what god awfully slow , I found a 86 t.c. got the complete motor , bellhousing new clutch/flywheel , rebuilt turbo and found out when i brought motor too machine shop that it had recently been gone through.

day i got it , picked it up in my monte carlo drove 160 miles to get from casa grande to phx

So i replaced all the gaskets , bearing had really no wear at all. journals and cylinder walls were gorgeous.
painted the motor

set the motor in with no issues

i did stingers wiring swap and it all very straight forward. im aware this was a 86 but im using a la3 computer and big vam awaiting for it in mail actually.

this is my harness

basically where im at is dealing with the bap sensor wiring, i dont know where the stock map sensor for the ranger is and im pretty sure i dont have one soooooo i have to either wire from ecu which stinger actually told me which pins to do it.

anyone else have this issue?

I ordered a front mount intercooler from treadstone , 2.5 intercooler piping , la3 ,

any advise or pointers will be appreatied

What's the deal with the stinger setup is it a whole stand alone ecm or is it just a kit to run the stock la3 ?? Or does is run over top the la3 to make it a more manageable ecm system??

Ah, good ol 2.3 turbo. Fun stuff. My turbo ranger just put 523 to the wheels with this engine. I can probably help with most questions that you have. Let me know

How about some specs on how you hit 523WHP? I'm a few miles from you.

Sounds legit Mike, better watch out.

Seeing the posts from the past on his build, I am finding it real hard to believe.

Hey man what kind of turbo are you using and what rpm you start to get full boost.

Couple posts after this you'll see I was using a holset hx35, I hit 22psi at 3700 rpm, since this post I changed my turbo to a precision 6262 and am hitting 22psi at 3100
