I've had a number of these trucks, all 4wd and most came stock with 265s but some with 235s. Does anyone know if there is any difference between the two suspension wise? I'm thinking it was just a tire size option but can anyone confirm?

A 235/75R15 is a 29" tire. A 256/70R16 is a 30" tire so not a ton of difference anyway. The first number is just the tire width not the height. You need the aspect ratio (second number) and rim size (third number) to determine the actual height.

But no there was no suspension difference in varying 4x4 models EXCEPT the very old "Hi-Rider" trucks from the 80's.

That's exactly what I was thinking but wanted to make sure.
