Im wondering if there is any difference between the original ford valence and the one ebay sells as in length between the two fog holes because i never thought mounting my fog lights would turn into such a martyr. Im trying to install 5" inch lights since the holes diameter is 5" and im using original fog light brackets but it just doesnt match up. Should i go with smaller lights or ditch the valence idea and install a bull bar or something instead.??

Why don't you post a photo so we can see what you are talking about??

So these are the lights mounted to the bumper with the brackets..

If anybody figures out what im doing let me know haha

seems to me that the valence is not fitting like it should be.
u should try to bend a bit your brackets to make them fit, because going for smaller lights wont fix it either.

u wouldnt believe how different between each other the L brackets i made for my moms old 93 were so the lights were aligned. thats because i went with a cheap knock off valence too.

Great photos, Bro!!! I see what you are talking about, now!! You will need to adjust the brackets. Take off the lights and see if they will fit in the light holes of the valance (if you have not already done so). If they do then just adjust the brackets. You might have to move them forward a bit with a home made spacers. But, I think they will work if just play with them a bit. I had an issue like that on my buddies Ranger Sport when I installed his new aftermarket fog lights for him last summer. I had to play with the brackets a bit and then I got them in position. It just takes some patience!!!

I used these Harbor Freight lights on mine, and they are about 4.25" IIRC. They are a snug fit at that. I really really like them though. I had to make my own brackets though.

Here's a link to them (they are 10 bucks a piece right now). http://www.harborfreight.com/12-volt-halogen-vehicle-work-light-93904.html

Also, I got this valence from the local Certifit dealer for 16 bucks.

SHANE96RANGER:If you want them to be yellow fog lights get a pair of Malibu Yard light covers they snap between the lens & the rubber housing.

EDUARDO95:your valance is NOT snug against the bottom of bumper & maybe something with the bumper or light brackets are bent ,looks like you can make the bolt holes larger for up/down & side ways movement or slot the holes to lower the brackets.

Yeah i know its not and its only because of the body lift. The frame rail is in the way and i cant get my hand around it so i can install it right. I finally have a whole day off on Tuesday next week after working 6 weeks straight without a day off so i will try and get that done because my patience is running out haha so we will see what happens.

that has NOTHING to do with your body lift cause the fog light brackets & the valance bolt to the bumper NOT the body

Yes i know but there is one hole on the valence that i cant get to because of the rails are on the way and i cant fit my hand. If you see on the pictures, the last hole on the valence is the one thats not screwed to the bumper and you can see the frame rail right behind it.

remove your bumper & attach the valance completely then reinstall bumper.

PROBLEM FIXED
