93 4.0l sohc v6 MAF sensor swap question...?

So i bought a new MAF for my 93' 4.0L Ranger....took the screws loose and noticed it was stuck to the air-filter housing box with an original factory gasket. My question is...what type of gasket is this...just simple RTV? Also...should i just pry it apart from the MAF sensor housing with a flat-head screw driver...because its hella stuck?:headbang:
