hey, so i live in new england and have had problems with my door latches rusting, seizing, and had a cable snap.. has anyone else had this issue? i just looked up recall info and found that to be a known problem. is it too late to cash in on that? i cant find the cables anywhere only the handles.

THE fix for a 1992 Ranger with a snapped door latch cable is go to a junkyard and take the latch handle, pushrod and latch assembly from just about any 1989-91 Ranger or Bronco2

1992 is the first year that used a cable like yours and frankly they ALL fail.

Check Ebay. I never had that issue on any of my cars or trucks. Must have had a bad window leak at one time that was or was not fixed properly?

Well, I know I have a drivers side set of pieces.

Pushrod latch handle and rod.

?Not sure about the passenger side

its only my drivers side thats causing the issue. would i be able to switch it to rods?
