so i recently bought my 94 ranger, and i am looking for a parts truck, i found a 92 ranger with a great body but the motor and trans arnt the best, just wondering if i could put the 92 body on the 94 frame, and if so how easy or hard would it be.

O the motor and tranny are the same in both trucks, also the 92 is only $450.

Me and my buddies have played the mix and match frame game a few times. Yes it will work, and I believe if they are the same cab style it should bolt straight up (don't know that for a fact, we normally put extended cabs or quad cabs on standard cab frames)

Moral of the story: Completely possible.

the body mounts should line up but the interiors are gonna be different along with the firewall im assuming. but its possible with enough work im sure. theres a guy on here with a ranger body on a f150 frame

im putting a 93 body on my 97 and ive noticed the firewalls are a bit different so im cuttign them out and welding the original one from the 97 into the 93. also i think im gonna have problems with the dash.
