I know this isn't a popular way to get a V8 under the hood of a ranger, but I have my reasons lol. I know some have done it with F150 frames, which are pretty similar. Does anyone know how to center the fender wells over the front wheels and also clear the engine/firewall? On a ranger the engine mounts to the cross member, on a bronco/f series it mounts to separate brackets behind the cross member. So the engine is already several inches further back, and then the ranger firewall is a few inches further forward. Do i mount the engine further forward somehow? Rebuild the firewall around the engine?

I saw it done before. People call it a ronco... The one I sawcut the center of fire wall and trans tunnel and angled the firewall back then raised the trans tunnel and filled in the rest of the space with new metal... If you look up Ronco there are some examples here and there online

Is it a 4x4 Bronco frame? Because if it is I don't think you can move the engine forward without the oil pan and the front diff trying to occupy the same space at the same time.
