92 2.9 ranger can not idle

ok i have a 92 ranger 2.9 4x4 that is my daily driver, today before i went to class i started it to let it warm up. it started just fine so i went to start busting ice the windshield when the motor just cut off.
i looked in and it tripped the check engine light, i tried starting it again and it fires one or two times then cuts out. i can keep it running but it will not idle.
so when i got back from class at one in the morning i jumped the obd(eec) port or whatever it is and two things happend

1 it cleared it for a second and the truck seemed to run fine for about 3 seconds then tripped the check engine and back to square one.

2 it started flashing off codes and i think i got some of them but im not 100% sure they are right (1 in the morning snowing 17deg with 30mph wind) as you can guess i was in and out very fast

here are the codes i think... 25 24 15 49 65 49

again im not sure but i looked them up and they seem kind of ramdom one is for eec and one is something for the auto tranny.

if anyone has any ideas or has had this issue any help would be awesome

i will head out in the morning and see if i can dig up anything

Disconnect the negative battery cable for 30 minutes to clear the eec codes then re-run the code checker and see if the same codes appear.

My ford code book lists:

24 - Intake air sensor

25 - Knock Sensor not sensed ( shouldn't be causing your problem)

15 - Read only memory test failed ( clear the codes then try again)

49 - 1-2 Shift error ( the auto tranny)

65 - Overdrive cancel switch not changing state.
