hey i have a chevy s10 with a 4.3 litre and the heat sucks i have changed the heater core and thermostat and fan, anyone else have any ideas

If it has a valve on the heater lines you might check that.

feel the heater hoses to see if you are getting circulation.

Your siggy doesn't have your specs listed for the S-10, but may I recommend a "Coolant System Flush." It cleans out much of the scale/rust that accumulates, and sometimes helps with overheating problems or lack of heat transfer.

On another note, aftermarket heater cores are not always as good. The O'Reillys heater cores are not nearly as good as the original Ford parts. I knew this info before, recently changed mine, and realized that the original really was better by far.

Perhaps this is the case with your Chevy.

It's obviously circulating if his truck is not overheating, his T-stat is replaced (still not overheating), and he said his "heat sucks." The blower would be blowing a little bit of heat, but barely.
