91 ranger spindle

hey, new here. i have a 1991 Ranger 4x4 STX with a 5 speed and a 2.9L engine i was driving the other day and my front passenger wheel fell off and rolled on past me i thought it was hilarious lol but apparently the threads pulled on my spindle and the bearings slid thus letting the wheel fall off haha but anyways now im having a hard time finding the correct size spindle what year span would this spindle run? thanks in advance!

that doesnt mean much....

you should have a d35 front end, so you need d35 spindles. anywhere from 90-97 should get you the right part. some trucks in the early 90's might have still had d28 axles and if yours is one of them then obviously you would need d28 spindles. i dont think this is the case but if it is your best donor would be any 80's ranger or b2. check the link for how to ID your axle.

well i got a spindle from the local salvage yard, he gave me what he "thought" would be it, it wasnt it was off of a late 80's truck, it was shorter and the ID was smaller, judging from your link im seeing that theres only two sizes? he gave me my money back and sent me else where because he didnt think his other rangers had the right one but he had a 93, that would work?

Try a different junkyard. Have you searched on carparts.com? If your able just bring the spindle to the yard with you if you really need to
