hey i have a 91 ranger 4.0L 5sp with manual hubs and an electric T case that doest like to work very often. was wondering what years of ranger/explorer manual T cases will fit? and how much work is it to do?
not too tough, prob take about an hour.....it's 5 or 6 bolts, i used a ratcheting wrench and a 3lb. mallet to free mine....helps if you have a friend to lower it/raise the new one, but i did mine alone, as far as t-cases i know a BW1354 will work and i think a BW1350 will too, but not sure about that.
take the driveshafts off first then the 5 or 6 bolts like mentioned holding the T case to the tranny, and it needs to be a 1354 to be a direct swap. I think the years would be '90-94 or '95 at some point they changed the front output
