I replaced the right side radius arm mount and am wondering WHY it was so worn straight up like it was dremeled upwards. Reason I am asking because NOW,,,, I am starting to notice that "Yogi" is getting a bit of a Gangsta Lean. Anybody else ever run into this AFTER a radius mount replacement???
Thanks, Ron

Huh..was it loose when you changed it? That's the only reason I can think of as to why the bushing itself would be worn, from rubbing up and down on the washers/spacers. There's really not much there except for some of those sandwiching that bushing. AND you're not missing any are you? Although if you were it would pull the suspension in on that side, but only minutely. Interesting.

The right side will always "wear" faster than the left, the exhaust puts a lot of heat on the bushing on that side...

Thanks for the reply's but I'm not talking about the bushing. Of course most of it was gone due to lack of maintenance.

You said the bushings were gone. That would allow the arm to ride metal on metal, and would wear the bracket. Did you see any wearing on the radius arm?

Not really, more on the mounting bracket. I am wondering if there is more than usual upwards pressure where the bushings are and if there is some kind of aligning that needs to be done.

Everytime you brake, there's an upward force on the arms. How often you step on the brakes determines how soon your mount wears...
